But the original color of the button will affect the dyeing effect. In general, light colored buttons are easier to be dyed than dark ones. In addition, if there are patterns on the buttons, they are still visible after being dyed. Steps to Dye Buttons

1. Put a mat on the workbench to avoid workbench being ruined. 

2. Wear latex gloves and protect your hands.

3. Mix the dye and water according to the instructions on the dye package. Make sure you have enough dye to be able to dye all fashion buttons.

4. Put some mixture of dye and water into the cup.

5. Put a button into a cup, take it out after a period of time, and record how long the button has been soaked. The longer the plastic pearl button is soaked, the darker it will be dyed. You can control the color of the buttons by adjusting the soaking time until you are satisfied with the color. It should be noted that the color of the dye will become lighter after drying.

6. Once the soaking time is set, you can put the other buttons in the cup. It's better to put each button in a separate cup for better dyeing.

7. After soaking, take out the buttons and rinse them with cold water. Then clean the buttons with warm soapy water and dry them.
