How to Install Pullers to Sliders?

Nowadays, we can see custom zippers in many places, such as clothing, backpacks and so on. The zipper puller is a part of the zipper, which is generally fixed on the custom zipper slider and can be easily moved on the chain. The zipper puller is not only a tool, but also a chic clothing decoration. The color, material, size, shape and other features of the zipper puller can be customized according to customer requirements, so it can show personality. It is because of the more and more extensive application of zippers, people also put forward higher requirements for the quality of zippers. If there is a problem with the assembly of the zipper, it may cause the zipper puller to fall off the chain. When the zipper puller falls off, backpacks, clothing and other items can not be sealed. Therefore, the zipper puller must be correctly assembled on the nylon zipper slider.

For different zipper pullers, we must take the correct way to install them on the zipper puller sliders, otherwise they will not work properly. The following describes three common installation methods. 

Manual Assembly

Manual assembly is suitable for electroplating zipper pullers, colorful zipper pullers, plastic zipper pullers, string zipper pullers and unusual zipper pullers, you need to use screws or rivets to assemble these zipper pullers onto the plastic zipper sliders. 

Semi-automatic Assembly

There are two kinds of semi-automatic assembly, including hanging the zipper pullers on the equipment and pushing the zipper pullers into the special track. 

The first assembly method is suitable for assembling irregular craft zipper pullers, such as , arch zipper pullers, short but wide zipper pullers, zipper pullers with different thickness from the head to the end, etc.

The second method is suitable for zipper pullers for garment with two similar but different sides. The operator should distinguish the front and back side or the left and right side of the zipper pullers when assembling the zipper pullers, and then push them into the track of the equipment to ensure the correct assembly.

Automatic Assembly

For regular zipper pullers and craft zipper pullers that have no need to distinguish their sides particularly, automatic assembly can be used directly. The automatic assembly is not only efficient, but also has lower cost. 

Qualification Rate

In the process of automatic assembly, the machine can complete three steps: automatic sorting, automatic identification and automatic assembly, and the qualification rate of the product can reach 100%. However, in the process of manual assembly and semi-automatic assembly, because the efficiency of manual identification is not as high as that of mechanical identification, workers will mistakenly classify nylon zipper pullers, resulting in a decrease in the qualification rate of products. Generally speaking, the qualification rate of manual assembly and semi-automatic assembly is 95% to 97%. 

Delivery Time

During manual assembly and semi-automatic assembly, due to the complex process and special shape of resin zipper puller, the assembly speed of workers will be reduced. In the process of automatic assembly, the machine can run automatically, work efficiently and finish the work in a shorter time. Therefore, the delivery time of automatic assembly is shorter, which can provide enough products for customers in a shorter time.
