1. Let's take a backpack with metal zipper for example. First of all, we need to prepare zipper slider, screwdriver, pliers and other tools. The zipper slider here can be one from the old clothes. If we cut a small hole in any part of the zipper, we can take off the intact zipper slider.

2. Among the removed old zipper sliders, we choose one with the same bottom to see whether it is applicable. Then, we need to insert a screwdriver from the middle of the double zipper slider and pull it down.

3. We should insert the zipper slider diagonally at any part of the zipper. And we use the same method on the other side. After installation, we need to check whether the chain teeth on both sides are inside the zipper slider. Then, we hold the puller by hand and clamp the bottom of zippers with pliers.

4. Finally, we should pull the fancy zipper slider  to one side and pull it up slightly. If the zipper at the joint with the cloth surface is separated, we should close the zipper by hand, and then pull it upward.

The number on the zipper slider represents the size of the zipper. And the type is proportional to the size of the zipper teeth, such as zipper slider 7 and zipper slider 8 in LONGQI. In short, the larger the number, the thicker the zipper. Usually, the number of zippers on our jackets is 5. Both 8 and 10 are special zippers, which are very rough and need to be customized. They are commonly less used.
