What Should We Pay Attention to When Using Injection Machine?

Injection machine is a kind of industrial machine with complex structure, so we should observe some precautions when using it to prevent machine failure caused by misoperation.

Matters Needing Attention

Before starting the rotor injection machine, check whether there is water and oil in the electrical control box. If the electrical part of the vertical injection machine is damp, do not start the machine. At this point, the damp part needs to be dried with a dryer before starting. 

Before starting the machine, it is also necessary to check the power supply voltage of the gravity injection machine. In general, the power supply voltage of low pressure injection machine should not exceed ± 6% of rated voltage. In addition, it is necessary to check whether the emergency stop switch and safety door of the hot chamber injection machine are normal. And check whether the rotation direction of motor and oil pump is consistent.

Check whether the cooling pipes are unblocked, and add cooling water to the oil cooler and the cooling water tank. Before operating the alloy injection machine, it is also necessary to check whether there are enough lubricating oil in each moving part. Turn on the heating switch so that the cylinder is heated until the temperature meets the requirements before adding enough plastic to the hopper. When using aluminium injection machine, cover the heat shield on the cylinder, which can not only save electric energy, but also prolong the life of electric heating ring and current contactor.

When operating automatic injection machine, pay attention to observe the temperature of hydraulic oil, oil temperature should not exceed the prescribed range. Ideal operating temperature of hydraulic oil should be kept between 45℃ and 50℃. It is also necessary to adjust the stroke switches to avoid the impact of the various parts of the machine. 

After operation, the plastic in the cylinder of the 160t injection machine should be cleaned to prevent the remaining plastic from being oxidized. In addition, the mold needs to be opened and the elbow mechanism should be locked. Be careful when installing and removing molds to ensure production safety.

Harm Caused by Improper Operation

When operating the horizontal injection machine, if the operation is improper, it may cause the temperature rise of the machine to be too high, thus causing damage to the machine. 

Too high temperature rise will cause the moving parts with different thermal expansion coefficient in hydraulic components to jam because of their smaller fit gap, cause action failure, affect the transmission accuracy of hydraulic system, and cause the working quality of the components to become worse.

Too high temperature rise will also lead to a decrease in the viscosity of the oil, making the oil easier to leaked. The volume efficiency of the pump and the efficiency of the whole system will be significantly reduced. Due to the decrease of oil viscosity and the increase of friction resistance of moving parts such as sliding valve, wear is aggravated. Too high temperature rise will also deform rubber seals, accelerate aging, reduce sealing performance and service life.
